The Comeback

It's been so long since I posted an entry here. I have been busy for the past year. Obviously, it's been a year until I am able to write again. Studies has been my priority for the past. And I am very much grateful that one of my dreams as a daughter and as a person has finally been checked off my list ---- and that is to become a Certified Public Accountant. October 21, 2013 was the date. It felt surreal. Twas' my first time ever to cry with my mom (as an adult). To see your name appear on the list of passers, was undeniably one of the greatest and happiest moments of my life. REMARKABLE. All the efforts, the sacrifices and hardwork have finally, sweetly, paid off. And now I am opening a new chapter of my life, where I will be working now. THE REAL WORLD. Few days from now, I'll be working in the number one auditing firm in the Philippines -- Sycip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV & Co.) I am excited and giddy about this. I want a new life. I want to meet new people. I want to earn my own money. There was this phase in my life (there has to be another entry alotted for this, which I'm gonna start on today, too) where I really had a heavy heart and it involves important and special people in my life. So in order to get away --- I need new environment. I NEED A NEW LIFE.

Next Monday, I'm hoping for a new life. A new light. Still not feeling the first day jitters, though. Maybe it is because my pre-employment requirements are still incomplete. I still have Medical Exam to do. This is really the most burdensome of all. Honestly. But I'm hoping by Thursday I'll accomplished everything. I can't wait to start anew. I still got some problems. My corporate wardrobe has still yet to be built. I only have few pieces to work on. I need time to shop and look for cheap grabs. Of course, I still want to look young even if I'm working. You know what I mean. I still want to look fab and not executive-boring-looking woman. Where can I find good stuff? I bought a set (top, pants, shoes) at SM. And it pains me. Good finds but it is such a pain in the pocket. Spent 3k for 3pieces. I know they are better as to quality compared to Tiangge goods but I am a neophyte. Zero-earner as of now. I'm planning to go thriftshopping but sad to say, my favorite Thrift Shop already closed </3 (really shocked about it!!) It was my favorite Thrift Shop. It was kinda hidden so I am able to pick really the best without competing with the other smart people out there. And now, I'm really worried where can I buy good corporate clothes......

Anyway, for all the new employees out there, have fun! Enjoy this phase of our lives. Work and enjoy as well. To God be all the glory. :)
