IAC's over. I am officially starting my summer vacay today :) Hahaha. One week to enjoy this stress-free feeling. My summer classes have been so toxic. It took so much energy and time. Pero sobrang naging masaya ako :) I don't know why. Heavy yung acads pero ang saya-saya ko. Feeling ko dahil yun sa new experiences ko. And the people I meet everyday :) It's a wonderful feeling ♥ and now that it's over, I'm kinda sad to leave everything behind. Oops. Pero yung grade part pwedeng skip natin? Hahaha. Mej we're on the verge of failing but prayers please!! *fingers crossed* I am looking forward to a much more fun sem this coming June. Sana magtuloy tuloy na tong good vibes ko :) And I'm gonna miss dorm-ing soo much!!! :( I wanna go back!!! Kung di lang kasi masakit sa bulsa talaga eh, G na G na :)) Haha. Well I think, sometimes, life has its own way of maintaining a balance. Maging stressed ka man sa pag-aaral, masaya ka naman sa mga taong nakapaligid sayo :) God works in mysterious ways talaga :) This IAC experience would never be so good if not for God's grace :) ♥ God bless everyone. I'm just spreading happiness today ;) Keep smiling!!

PS. I've watched Gossip Girl today. Super catch-up because I am 3 eps behind. And I am so loving the Chuck and Blair moment. The highlight: Fight for the one you love!!! :) Teehee!! :"> ♥

Sleepless

So today I'll be summing up all that have happened for the past few weeks that I've been cyberly away. Sa loob ng dalawang linggo na yun, parang isang taon ang lumipas. Seriously. As what I've mentioned before, I'm taking up IAC classes this summer and we just had our first quizzes last Thursday&Friday. And that means sleepless nights!!! Today, I'm giving myself a break. ;) No allotted time for studying. Hihihi. Yipeeeee! So magkkwento na lang ako :p I've been living away from home 2weeks na. And I'm kinda loving it. Mas madami kasi talagang oras para mag-aral. Unlike pag uwian, kinain na ng travel time mo yung dapat sleeping time mo. And can I just say na kahit mej maliit yung room namin compared sa iba naming kasama sa dorm, sobrang saya naman samin and maraming pagkain :)) I'm just so happy to share that my roommates and I are happily living together. Sobrang tawa lang kami ng tawa sometimes. And what makes it more fun, eh pag yung iba naming friends from other room eh nakikigulo and nakikiaral samin. Hahaha. But take note, pag oras na ng pag-aaral wala ng istorbohan. Kanya-kanya na :) and that's what I love most about my dormmates. Effective kami. Chaka we learn from each other pag may questions kami ganyan :) And very tuwang tuwa kami nung exam days because most of our questions were included in the exam. Kaya nakakatuwa lang kasi we were effectively helping each other *tears* chos :)) Sorry but I do not have any other dorm pictures eto lang nakalap ko from my friend, Pasti who visited us during our first week =))

                         

We eat at a lot of places. And naging fave namin yung Ilar's Tapsilogan. Hahaha sarap! Pero wag araw-arawin mej nakakasawa. Tas yung tabi nun masarap daw yung ice candy. Fruitas Ice Candy. Pero di ko natikman kasi ayoko ng icecandy. Hahaha. And fave din namin sa ClassiqueFondue sa Dapitan. :)) Hihihi tas may bago kaming nadiscover yung Tinapayan along Lacson and Dapitan. Sarap nung Sylvannas nila and Crinkles ;) Sweets-lover talaga ko. hihihii and gusto namin matry yung cake nila. Tempting!!! We tried different laundry shops din. Syemps, rate muna sila para mabango and malinis ang  mga damit namin. Gusto ko matikman yung Frappe sa Dapitan at ang Kopiccino ng Kopiko. Naging coffee lover ata ako simula nung nagdorm ako. Hahah. Hihihi Dorm-ing is fuuuun because of these people! ;)

HashtagThriftshop

So yesterday I went out with Bfs. (Bfs means boyfriends lol. Joke. They are my highschool forever girlfriends. And thats how, apparently, we call our 'barkada') It was a planned thing. It was Essen who invited us to go thriftshop! And me, being a fan of bargains talaga, said yes with no doubt! I've always been fond of worthy cheap finds!!! It's a fulfilling passion. Oops? Hahaha. So when we arrived at Quiapo, we didn't know exactly where the Ukay-Ukay was so we asked the people there pa. As we were walking along the streets, I experienced something new. A bad kind of something-new. There were 2 kids running around us when suddenly, yung kamay nung bata nasa legs ko na. As in wtf?! Bata-bata pa eh. Eh sobrang matatakutin pa naman ako sa mga ganun. Tipong ichurang manyak pa nga lang eh nilalayuan ko na. Yun pa kaya. Pero siguro may fault din ako for wearing shorts that day. Blame it on Mr. Sunny. I wasn't supposed to wear shorts talaga coz I know where I'm going, but I just can't tolerate the raging heat! (all of us wore shorts actually, but not bastusin shorts naman if you know what I mean). And my other friend, Berbs, niyakap naman. Grabe talaga. Tsk. but we just let it passed. Mga bata kasi eh. But take this advice, if you're going to a place where you know, some people might be disrespectful, wear something that wouldn't be very enticing in their eyes. (Did I use the right verb?! Parang may better pa, stimulating/arousing?? Lol). Kahit mainit. Tiis-para-sa-seguridad look. Lol. =)) Anyway as we looked around, we finally found where the street of Ukay-ukays were. It is so surprising to see that there were clothes priced for as low as 10pesos!! DUDE?! 10pesos na damit?! San ka pa makakakita nun diba? And that's what I love most about thriftshops, super bargains and super frugal mode on dito!! Cheap finds pero sulit. It's just a matter of patience. You have to tick every hanger for every rack of clothes to find something good and worth-buying for. There are some that look good which are priced at 100plus. Please don't buy that. Not worth it. Balikan mo na lang pag di na sya New Arrival. Yun nga lang kung andun pa. Pero if you really like it, and you have the money, gora. Which sometimes, I admittedly do. Pag may pera lang ha! Hehehe. :)) I have found a lot of good finds there. Shorts and tops. I actually found a maong highwaisted shorts that is what I'm actually looking for, but unluckily it didn't look so pretty on me. I didn't pull it off because of my bloated belly! :( (Srsly I really need to go on a diet but my dear deadly course won't allow me!!!! Dayuuum. I just can't stop eating while studying. I need energy to keep reading. Dko talaga kaya magdiet pag nagaaral. WHAT TO DO NOW!!!) The shorts went to my friend, Hiromi. Bitter pa rin ako. Joke. I envy Hiromi for having such a nice figure!!! Payat na niya. Anyway, in the middle of our fun search, we found super cool costume-y clothes. And one of my friends, Pao, actually tried the Sailor-ish dress. I told her to buy that and wear it on our next Halloween Party. Hahahha! Sobrang funny nung ichura nung dress na yun! Essen tried the African inspired tassled top. Sayang wala akong picture!! Pero sobrang funny when Essen tried it on hahaha! She even asked us if she would buy it because she's willing to do so!! Hahahha. Reena tried the no-easy-access dress. Hahaha super long AWalkToRemember-ish floral dress. If you know what I mean. Pero nice yun ah. It just needs little alterations. Sobrang fun lang magfit. Hahaha. My friends have been successful finding and buying something at low cost, but me, at the end of the day, surprisingly, as a Ukay-ukay freak myself, wasn't able to buy something :( I actually found a nice blue polo top. Pero malaki :( I wasn't able to grab something because it's either not of my size, doesn't look good on me or already picked by my friends (agawan kami. First Hold First Pick ang drama lol) Oh fate :( Not my day! But I have bought myself new accessories (not from Ukay Ukay). Turban, cute bracelets and a watch for a reasonable price din naman:) And that made me happy na rin in a way. I've also spent few bucks for food. Hahaha diet pala ha?! Demmet -____- can someone just stop me from buying and eating food. Lol. I am actually eating the yema right now. And I almost finished the whole box of hopia today :)) Oopsie -____- Sobrang takaw ko forever :((( Enough of my blabs about my fatty issues. Lol. Anyway, so you guys should try out these thriftshops too! Swear, sobrang sulit!! You'll find things that resemble the ones you see in Tumblr. And if you love vintage, just as I love them, Ukay ukay is the place to be!!! You'll surely get what you want :) Try Anonas Ukay-Ukay also which is too big by the way, those in Katip and those in Bayan and Concepcion (if you're near Marikina). Actually there are a lot of 'branches' around Manila you just have to pay attention to them. So the next time you pass by a thriftshop go get yourself a cheap treat! Discover something fun and new out of those cheap finds. I'm pretty sure you gotta love it and maaadik ka!!! Babalik-balikan mo sila. Lol =))

Why do good things always come to an end?

This question came across my mind because I was in OPM mood today. I was listening to old school pinoy band songs all day looooong. Rivermaya. Eraserheads. Sugarfree. etc And what do they have in common? DISBANDED -___-   (I am tempted to mention Paramore. Sorry fan mode na naman ako hahaha, pero since OPM bands nga sabi ko diba. Scrap that. ;p)  though, meron pa rin namang existing bands na malupit. Parokya ni Edgar, Up Dharma Down, Sandwich etc. Pero gets, iba pa rin yung sa Eraserheads Rivermaya Sugarfree eh. Solid yung mga kanta. Tagos. Walang kupas. Anyway, ano nga bang sagot sa Title ng post na to? I think the reason is that we're just little earthlings running and wandering around the circus of life. Wala talagang permanente sa mundo. Even our existence. We may enjoy every little thing we have right now. But at the end of the day, it'll be depreciated, outdated and obsolete. Every feeling, every emotion, every thing, every moment is temporary, mawawala din yan. One cannot hold on to something too long. But I guess this is the magic of life. Imagine, if we are forever happy, we wouldn't bother to get out of our comfort zone or should I say happy zone and we wouldn't be able to go on to the depths of this unpredictable life. Good things come to an end to have a brighter and more positive perspective in life. So in the case of these bands, that chose to have separate lives, feeling ko naman may something maganda din silang napulot sa nangyari na yun. They've become better persons. Behind those petty conflicts that lead to their split, I'm sure there are big learning that they have brought with them :) Isipin na lang natin na everyday is one step closer to betterment and genuine happiness! Happy ladder-ing! Lol ♥

Dormy Wormy

Hello :) Since our curriculum includes summer classes, (we are the last lucky batch to experience it, because the next batches will have a 5-year course. We'll graduate earlier :p) my friends and I decided to go dorm. 'Coz our summer sched is such a killer. 8am to 5pm mondays to fridays. Ansabe diba?! From Marikina to UST, almost 2 hours of travel. Sobrang sayang oras:( kung tinulog ko na lang yun. Fortunately, my parents were very understanding and they allowed me to go dorm (or, maybe because of my effective acting skillzzz \m/ wachathink? lol Joke lang! ;))

We went dorm hunt last week. I was with Shara, Chona and Gotel. (my future dormmates) and Tobi. It was a fun experience because every dorm we see gets better and better. I remember, the very first dorm we inquired about, it was priced at 8k per room for 4 persons. As in WOW diba? Super frugal mode on!! And guess what we did?! WE JUMPED OUT OF JOY! As in literally. (tumatawa ako ngayon kasi naalala ko talaga =)))) shems!! That moment =))))) Only to realize in the end, after seeing the place, and canvassing all the dorms we saw, that the dorm we were so excited to see at first, doesn't deserve any appraisal at all. As in. Very hot. Not super secured. Maganda lang yung labas niya eh. Moral of the story: SUBSTANCE OVER FORM :) The second dorm we went to, it was nice also. Better than the first one. What is cute about this is that, the room is collapsible. You can have it divided into 3 little rooms pa, in case you don't want to see each other's face lol. And you have mini kitchen and own CR. Plus the caretaker was very accommodating. As in super. We even called her Mommy M (Mayet is her name) because we get attached to her already. But we got a problem, no aircon :( Okay lang naman walang AC basta cozy yung room kaso hindi eh. Mainit. So we still have our second thoughts, pero in that moment, I bet on it na talaga! Mommy M was ready to do favors for us pa nga. I felt sad that we have to turn her down now that we've found the one:( And now, we went to the 3rd dorm. It was located above iChill, the home of the trashtalking dota boys. Hahahah. Uhh, we really loved this dorm! As in we reached the point that we wanted to pay already. We loved the security! May CCTV. Very hi-tech locks per room. And we were so fond of the intercom! Since, the gate is always open, we were just yelling "Tao po!" outside the gate, then all of a sudden, there came a voice "Pasok kayo!" coming from the speakers. tawang tawa kami kasi sobrang funny pa nung pagsigaw ni Ate Janet =)) It was a ladies' dormitory. Sobrang okay siya kaso walang sariling CR. Pero yung CR nila parang pang-mall. Yung maraming cubicle. So you don't need to go against each other during bath time. The bedrooms are okay also. Each has study table. And may AC. But we backed out. Why? Kasi lugi kami. 5weeks lang yung summer classes namin but we have to pay for 2full months. which means we have to pay 8k. Sobrang sakit sa bulsa. 5weeks lang kami eh. Tapos babayaran 2mos?! Di kami papayag syempre no. =)) We tried to persuade Ate Janet to give consideration, but she didn't compromised. So we were very alarmed already. We barely have 2weeks to look for another. Luckily, Ira saw our worrying tweets at Twitter and it was very nice of her to refer the dorm she got which is at Residencia Fortuna located at Lacson :) we fell in love with the pictures at their site. It seemed so clean and new. The only disadvantage: mejj malayo compared sa iba naming nakita pero okay na din :)

Super bare pa. -_____- We haven't filled the room yet since we're not yet fully paid but we have it reserved already. Maybe for the next few weeks I can post pics of our filled room already. But oopsiedoopsie, I won't bring my netbook pala :( But maybe during weekends, I can still update, when I'm home. Hopefully, if not busy. So there. Our unit is just for 11k/mo lang =) plus the charge for our extra week exclusive of water and elec. Super sulit! :) I can publicly announce already where it is located now that I'm assured that no one can take it away from us. Reserved na yan!! Hahaha. Residencia Fortuna is located at Don Quijote St. (near Piy Margal) at Lacson side of UST =) I can say that this dorm is the best pick :) Sulit and siksik :) The dorm is neat, secured and safe. Free wifi pero sa lounge area lang. Plus we have fun neighbors to goof around with. Super fuuun and exciting! First time namin lahat eh. =) Sana lang maging maayos at matiwasay ang dorm life. And maging helpful siya samin. We did go dorm para may extra time to study. Hopefully we can brightly maximize the time :) I recommend this dorm para sa mga gustong magdorm for the next schoolyear :) Godbless everyone! PeaceLoveHappiness :)

Random Shiz

Hello =) I would just like to share how my ThirdYear life in college had been so influential to me. They say, 3rdyear life is the most crucial and most difficult year, oh well, I agree. TOTALLY AGREE. Academically, yes it is hard, toxic, pain-in-the-ass and all the burden-ish words you can put into. I got to experience sleepless nights, or to be more realistic, chopchop sleeps. If you know what I mean. You get to alarm your phone every 30mins just to keep up and get your readings done. It's reaaaaaally frustrating. -___- Well, I guess, it's a way of a punishment also since I don't do advanced readings. Who would want to anyway?! You've dedicated most of your time in school already and you would still want to give up your precious free time for the same reason? BUT. Let me emphasize this, I am so wrong in thinking that way. Proven by my sluggish academic performance this year. :( But as the saying goes, you learn from your mistakes. I've learned a lot from my thirdyear ups and downs.

It was actually this schoolyear that I got to meet a lot of people and blended with different personalities. Less old, more new. (not to mention, my crushes lol landi forever ;p) Here are some of the people that highlighted my 3rdyear =) wait, I'm too lazy to put pics. Hahahha. Anw I just wanted to tell everyone how lucky I am to experience all these just in that short span of time. Imagine, in just 10 months, I got to feel depression, anxiety, happiness, frustration, excitement, boredom and.. kasawian and kilig!! hahaha. It taught me a lot actually. Looking forward for another rollercoaster ride :) peacelovehappiness!

Fresh Start

So how do this thing works? Haha. I am a blog noob. Forgive me. My blog creation or should I say blog birth, is by accident. Really. I didn't plan putting up a blog since I am not really into writing. But because I am a bum for almost over a week now, got nothing to do but read others' blog, and I got inspired to make one. Well, I think blogging will be an awesome ride since I get to keep and record (naks, accountant talaga eh lol) memories, rants, raves of my life. Feeling ko kasi pag nag-blog ako pagtatawanan ko to in the future. Kidding. But honestly I think it would be an outlet of my rollercoaster emotions. Mehganon?! I actually regret not having such before. I really had so much things I would like to keep and record forever. Well, starting today I hope I could update this once in a while. Head on to the future!
